Deneeysville bikers museum and restaurant
Type: Museum and Restaurant

We took a 45 minute ride out with Clearwater BMW group to Deneysville, to enjoy a buffet breakfast at Lake Avenue Inn but more importantly to check out the historic bikers museum. We left from Clearwater BMW and headed to the N1 highway past Nasrec towards Alberton.
We then took the R59 to Vereeniging, but turned off at Henley on Klip to take the scenic trip to Deneysville. Henley on Klip is a beautiful little town nestled on the Klip River, definitely worth a trip
On arriving at Lake Avenue Inn there were already a large number of bikers who had made the trip, there were Harley’s and Honda’s, Suzuki’s and Kawasaki’s and then came the BMW’s. One big biker family having breakfast together, united us for the day. Everyone was laughing and chatting and enjoying the company of meeting new people.
The historic bikers museum was something to behold. R25 entrance fee to be transported back in time in the motorcycle history. Walking around in the museum seeing these bikes brought back memories of the movie I watched as a kid back in the 80’s ‘Silver Dream Racer’ starring David Essex.
It was soon time to get back on the bike and head on back to the city. We have so many undiscovered treasures in our beautiful country, even in and around our beautiful city.
