This beautiful 4 star Country Lodge and spa is situated along the Magalies river in Magaliesburg. This is the ideal wedding venue with its own private chapel on the grounds and large Marquee tent for ceremonies and reception parties.

We found it on a tourism map and decided to take a ride through to Magalies to check it out. Breakfast was great and like any 4 or 5 star venue they offer a full buffet breakfast or menu options. We enjoyed a peaceful breakfast outside on the terrace overlooking the pool.

After breakfast we decided to take a walk through the grounds and possibly see if they could accommodate us for a massage at the spa. Unfortunately they were fully booked for the day and suggested we made a booking in advance. This looked like a state of the art spa and something to consider in the future.

We then walked down to the river and came across a beautiful little chapel in the grounds. They have 76 rooms from superior, luxury to standard rooms depending on your taste and affordability. There are also Conference facilities available.

So this is an all in one venue able to meet and exceed your needs. Take a ride through to Magalies and enjoy the beautiful peaceful scenery Valley Lodge and Spa have to offer.
