Harvard Cafe

At Rand Airport

Type: Restaurant

Website: http://www.harvardcafe.co.za/

We visited Harvard Cafe this morning on our breakfast run and enjoyed the warm gas heaters in the venue. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with live music provided by Jimmy the resident musician.

The buffet breakfast is reasonable at R89 per person and tasty. They offer a comprehensive menu including burgers, pizza’s fresh from their pizza ovens and a great steak. Enjoy sundowners or try their craft beers while light aircraft fly overhead.

There is seating inside and outside with tables close to the runway. There is a children section whereby children can play on a jungle gym whilst the parents enjoy their experience at Harvard Café.

Just around the corner is the South African Airways Museum for just R35 per adult, this is a great little piece of South African history.

At the bottom of this blog, you can scroll all the way to the bottom to view all the places we have visited over the past 2 and a half years. Click on the name of the restaurant and it will open up, where we went and our experience of the place. Hope you enjoyed this blog, hope to see you out and about soon.
