Noble Village

Hekpoort

We took a ride out to Hekpoort this morning on the BMW GS1200 Adventure to the Noble Village for breakfast. We have ridden past this place several times over the past 3 years and was not keen on visiting because our experience at the previous restaurant at this venue was not great.

But we were pleasantly surprised, the entire place has been upgraded, and cleaned up and the old house that used to have the restaurant in is completely not even used. The new owners have changed this into an adventure park with a restaurant. It is now a family venue including kiddies play park, peddle carts, acro-branch, hiking trail and 4×4 trail.

The restaurant has a number of large wooden tables for seating 8 people. Tables are indoors and outdoors and under the trees. It is a great setting and much better than when it was the old restaurant. (Goblins Cove) We thoroughly enjoyed the ride out and the venue. The food was great and we enjoyed sitting in an outdoor setting under the trees. Peaceful and beautiful with a lot to do for the whole family.

Open from 8am to 7pm on a Saturday, serving Breakfast, Lunch and Supper. Also open on a Sunday from 8am to 5pm, also open weekdays but closed on Tuesdays.

I recommend this new venue for you to try it out and hopefully you too will be pleasantly surprised. At the bottom of this blog, you can scroll all the way to the bottom to view all the places we have visited over the past 6 years. Click on the name of the restaurant and it will open up, where we went and our experience of the place. Hope you enjoyed this blog, hope to see you out and about soon.
